The watchmakers at Lentz House of Time, LLC are members of the American Watchmakers and Clockmakers Insititute and The Chronometer Club and strive to maintain the highest standards of servicing.
 
MOVEMENT OVERHAUL
Movement maintenance is performed by an accomplished and qualified watchmakers. It consists of:

  1. Complete disassembly and thorough cleaning of the entire movement, correction of all problems and replacement of necessary parts with new and original parts unless original parts are discontinued.
  2. Ultrasonic cleaning of case and bracelet. Oiling, regulation and re-assembly, according to the manufacturer's specifications.
  3. Replacement of the battery (in quartz movements only).
  4. Perform water-resistance test to manufacturer's specifications on water resistant models only.

One year service warranty is provided on labor.
 
 
BATTERY REPLACEMENT - ITEMS BELOW ARE REQUIRED ON HIGH-END WATCHES AND DIVERS
 
Battery replacement consists of many steps performed by a competant watchmaker. Keys steps include:

  1. Ultrasonic cleaning of case and bracelet.
  2. Timing on Elma Watch-Master II.
  3. Replacement of gaskets and crown (if needed, will advice customer before replacing).
  4. Perform water-resistance test to manufacturer's specifications.
  5. Perform general check of movement consisting of:
  •     Measurement of the lower working voltage.
  •     Measurement of end of life indicator.
  •     Checking coil resistance.

 
REFINISHING OF CASE/BRACELET
A STANDARD SERVICE ON MODERN SOLID STAINLESS STEEL, GOLD OR TWO-TONE WATCHES, BUT MAY BE ADVISED AGAINST WITH OLDER/VINTAGE MODELS IF REFINISHING MAY PERMANENTLY COMPROMISE WATER-RESISTANCE RATING.
 
Prior to refinishing the case and bracelet, the movement is removed to prevent any damage during the process.
 
NO MICRON, PLATED OR GOLD-FILLED WATCHES WILL BE POLISHED
